Monster Girl Sweet Shops- Pick Out of Five 8 x 10" Prints
From 2021 to 2022, I had the pleasure to work on a personal project: A series of prints combining monster girls and vintage-style sweet shops. This was largely an excuse to design a bunch of monster-themed sweets, but I decided to add an extra challenge: each piece had to have less than ten colors, and I had to draw them in a completely flat style. Getting the layouts & color placements correct was tough, but the end results were worth the effort!
The series is composed of these five prints:
Love Runs the All-Nite Cafe: Two loving wives embrace in their diner-syle late night cafe. Look at those lovely cakes!
Homespun Cotton Candy: A drider sells her specialty home-spun cotton candy in an outdoor foot stand. Don't ask who- or rather, what- her supplier is...
No Free Samples: A candy shop owner demonstrates to two little monsters that only she can get free samples. Listen, after an hour of constant begging, anyone would lose their patience.
Moonlight & Blood Bakery: Edith and Bella, another pair of wives, proudly pose in their teal-and-red monster bakery. This one is my favorite of the series, but shhhh don't tell anyone!
Mint to Be Ice Cream Shoppe: Two teen girls go on a classic first date to the local ice cream shop. This is technically a redo of a much older piece, but I changed so much that it might as well be an original idea. I like this version much more- especially the octopus shop owner!
Each print is 8x10 in and printed on Epson Matte paper. All prints are shipped with a rigid cardboard back to prevent damage during shipping.
Why are the international shipping rates so high?
It is because I ship all my prints with a rigid cardboard back to protect the print from damage. This rigid backing, by USPS's classifications, automatically classifies it as an international package instead of international mail, which costs more to send. I have kept the price as low as I could, but please understand it is not entirely in my control.
If you want me to ship your print with a less rigid backing to save money (about $4-5 USD less on average), please contact me BEFORE purchasing and I will make arrangements. However, this more flexible backing will offer less protection to your print. I will not be held responsible for any damage that your print may receive during shipping.
